Lane is a filmmaker turned therapist.

He works with teens, adults and couples to address a broad range of needs ranging from addiction, anxiety, depression, mood disorders and more.

Lane Janger, LMFT & LPCC received his MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles where he proposed and helped found Antioch Community Therapy Services (ACTS) which now has over 75 therapists providing cost-free therapy to over 500 clients.   Additionally, Lane was chosen as student speaker to represent the psychology department at his commencement and was also the co-recipient of the 2020 Antioch University Library Research award for a paper about Methamphetamine use amongst gay men in West Hollywood.

Lane’s primary focus has been working with teenagers and adults challenged with addiction and other co-occurring disorders, including trauma, depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorders, LGBTQ+ & Gender Identity challenges, ADHD, OCD and other personality disorders.  Lane worked at Clear Recovery Center for 2 years with individuals and groups, teens and adults in the mental health track, teen track, dual-diagnosis, PHP/IOP center and at Clear’s residential detox.

In addition to his work and training at ACTS, Lane also spent more than a year training at Beit T’Shuvah Residential Treatment Center, a 150-bed residential addiction treatment center in Culver City.  There he was comfortable working with clients challenged by addictions of every kind including Opiates, crystal meth, sedatives, hypnotics, cannabis prescription medication, sex, eating disorders, gambling, and alcohol.

Lane earned an MA in clinical psychology at Antioch Los Angeles, a Master of Fine Arts Degree in filmmaking from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts degree at University of California, Santa Barbara.
